This article explains the call flow involving AAA when it comes to unparsed option 82 and what EAAA does with unparsed option82

Information

When BNG/BRAS(Broadband Network Elements) sends ACCESS_REQUEST to EAAA, in that unparsed option82 is coming in the form of a username. It is then parsed on the basis of logic deployed on EAAA.

The option82 is something specific to Cisco Network Gateway where the username field is sent in the form of an IP Address. Then AAA sends a DHCP Request to Cisco Gateway to receive the decoded Username(usually a MAC Address).
