Overview

The customer had a server restart and would like to start the PCRF Services on the node. This can also be applied when there is a requirement for PCRF restart. The below steps can be used to restart the services of the PCRF Node.

Solution

• Login into the PCRF Server with the netvertex user. (netvertex user should have root access).
• Go to path cd /opt/netvertex/server/bin
• Execute netvetertex.sh.
• Wait for some time.
• Run cli.sh.
• Execute command services from the CLI prompt.

• Note: If the same server hosts AAA Services, follow the instructions from Starting the AAA Server article.

Verification

Verify that the status of the service is similar to what is shown below:
