This article provides an overview of how the SNMP Traps are configured in the AAA Server.

Solution

There are 2 documents that cover SNMP Trap configuration.

The attached SNMP Trap AAA Document covers the aspects of the configuration from the AAA Server perspective. This includes steps such as configuring SNMP Trap Listener

The attached SNMP Trap EMS Document covers the aspects of the configuration on the SNMP Listener such as the EMS Motadata server. 

Configuring both aspects should take care of monitoring SNMP Alerts from external trap listeners.
